october 29th evening fall mini sessions at eagle island state park
What a busy fall!
Last summer I started planning out two days that I would offer mini sessions. I was already scheduled to do 3 days of minis with Natalie Tromburg Photography but I wanted to create 2 specific days for my clients. The first date was in September and had warm weather and was in the evening at Reid Merrill Park. The 2nd was on a Saturday morning at Eagle Island State Park. I didn't have any plans to create a 3rd mini session until one of my repeat clients who I love to work with said that my two mini dates didn't work for her. I offered her a special mini session on October 29th. Then wouldn't you know another friend of mine asked for a mini session as well so I tacked her onto the 29th as well. Then I was contacted by a family who goes to The Little Gym in Eagle/Meridian and saw my flier. I got her booked and then I had an inquiry come through Instagram. I decided 4 families was plenty to create another whole mini session date. It was perfect because I had learned so much from my previous 5 minis that this was my most enjoyable mini session to date.
I was so happy to work all of these families. One was a repeat client like I mentioned. They are just the sweetest and they bring along grandma which I think is just so sweet and special. Another family was a friend who I met doing a nanny share in the spring of 2021. We've remained in contact and I love watching their family grow. Plus, they are just such a darn good looking family! The other family I'm sharing was the one who contacted me through Little Gym and their little boy was just such a joy to work with. He was sweet, cute, and stylish! Just like all little boys he was eager to explore his surroundings. The 4th family was also amazing to to work with but they asked I don't share their images online.
